About Us

Market Entry Expertise. Global Perspective. Personal Partnership.

Maguire Advisors was founded on a straightforward belief: too many companies with real potential make expensive mistakes in their first international move. Not because they lack ambition or resources, but because they lack the specific intelligence that only comes from understanding both the market and the industry deeply.

With Maguire Advisors, you get market intelligence that’s specific and built on what’s happening on the ground, not what some database says happened three years ago.

Born in New York, expanded to London. We practice what we preach.

We launched Maguire Advisors because we kept seeing the same pattern: technology companies with proven products, ready capital and genuine market opportunities but no clear path from decision to operational presence. What they needed was strategic guidance on the fundamental questions:

Which market should we enter?

How should we structure our entry?

What regulations apply to us specifically?

Who are the right local partners?

The gap was obvious. Most consultancies were either too broad (general strategy firms dabbling in market entry as one service among dozens) or too narrow (local specialists who understood one market but couldn’t provide comparative intelligence). Maguire Advisors saw room for a firm that specialized exclusively in market entry for technology companies and operated in the markets that mattered most to our clients.

Today, we operate as a truly transatlantic firm. Our New York and London teams work as one unit, with daily collaboration that gives clients access to real-time intelligence from both sides of the Atlantic.

We Specialize in Technology

We serve various industries, but our deepest expertise lives in technology sectors: SaaS platforms, FinTech solutions, HealthTech innovations, AI applications. This focus isn’t arbitrary. Technology companies face unique market entry challenges from rapid product evolution, complex data regulations and ecosystem dependencies to competitive landscapes that shift faster than traditional industries.

A consultant who understands manufacturing market entry won’t necessarily understand SaaS market entry. The regulatory questions are different. The partnership models are different. The success metrics are different. At Maguire Advisors, we’ve chosen to be genuinely expert in one domain rather than superficially capable across all domains.

Who We Are

The Maguire Advisors team brings together market entry specialists with backgrounds in management consulting, international business development, regulatory affairs and direct operating experience in the technology sectors we serve. We’ve collectively guided expansions across dozens of markets and have seen what works and what fails in practice.

That diversity in background, operating experience and geographic expertise, strengthens every strategy we develop. When we build a market entry plan, it’s informed by people who’ve actually done the work: hired in foreign markets, negotiated with regulators, structured partnerships and managed the inevitable gaps between strategy and execution.

What Drives Us

Strategic Rigor

Data-driven decisions over assumptions. Every recommendation we make traces back to research, analysis or direct market intelligence.

Cultural Intelligence

Markets are communities, not territories. Successful entry requires understanding local business norms, decision-making processes, relationship dynamics and the unwritten rules that govern commerce.

Transparent Counsel

Sometimes the right answer is “not yet” or “different market” or “you need to fix something internally first”. We optimize for client success, not for maximizing engagement fees.

Long-Term Thinking

Market entry success unfolds over years. We build strategies designed for sustainable presence, not just launch momentum.

Continuous Learning

Every expansion teaches us something that strengthens the next client engagement. We maintain active knowledge-sharing across projects, documenting what’s working in different markets and sectors.
